Today the VERY special request that I mentioned before! As we are now in the mafia-mood after yesterday… My sister is working on a great WW2 gangster-movie, so… she is looking for some pre-WW2 classics.
Get ready to become famous, at least in Holland! As there is also the possibility of playing a role yourself in this incredible movie, for example as chauffeur of one of the actors in your own car!
So, would you like to play a role in a Dutch movie about WW2? Please continue reading!
Dear patrol heads,
Mafia henchman WANTED! My name is Laura Veenenbos, sister of your editor and I am preparing the making of a new Dutch movie called ‘Riphagen’. This movie is based on the life of Andries ‘Al Capone’ Riphagen, a Dutch criminal war-profiteer who enriched himself during WW2 as a black-marketeer, with robbing and other criminal offenses.
To make the movie as realistic as possible, we are looking for cars from the 1930s (virtually no cars were produced during WW2, at least not in Europe). We are looking for bread & butter cars as well as more exclusive cars, often used by the mafioso-bosses of the time!
Furthermore we are looking for cars as well as tanks, used by the German army.
If you are the proud owner of one of the vehicles described above and you like to experience a day on a professional Dutch film set, then please feel free to contact me by sending an email to laura@pupkin.comMore details about the movie:
The movie will be directed by Pieter Kuijpers (known for Dutch productions such as Van God Los and Hemel op Aarde).
The leading role will be played by the Dutch actor Jeroen van Koningsbrugge.
The shooting days will take place between September and November 2015 at various locations in the Netherlands.
Car owners will probably not need to travel beyond the triangel Amsterdam-The Hague-Rotterdam.
The movie will be appear in cinema in the spring of 2016 and will be broadcasted by the VPRO as a three-part TV-series at the end of next year on the Dutch television, so fame guaranteed!
If you want to apply then please add a color photo of your car with info about: marque, type and year built.
We look forward to your replies!
